Blogging is one of the best ways to communicate with your audience. You can connect with people more deeply, while also building your brand and business! Writing is a big part of blogging and there are many tutorials on how it's done.


I wrote this guide to provide you with all the information you need to begin writing your blog.

What is a blog?


A blog (a shortened version of “weblog”) is an online journal. Displaying information in reverse chronological order.


It is an article, news piece, or guide that’s published on a blog section of a website.


It typically covers a specific topic or query.


It is educational.


It contains 600 to 2000+ words & contains media types such as images, videos, infographics, and interactive charts.


A blog post has no limitations, it may contain more than 2000 words and less than 600 words.


The main purpose of a blog is to connect you to the relevant audience.


The person who does all these is called a blogger and the process is called blogging.


The main platforms for blogging are: 


  1. WordPress

  2. Blogspot 


 How to write a blog post?


  1. Introduction


  1. Pinpoint your customer's problem and ask questions.


  1. Show some stats if you can about the topic you are talking about.


  1. What is [the topic] & why does it matter?


  1. Catch your audience's attention by putting a catchy title.



  1. Body


  1. The main message will be in your body section.


  1. Give valuable information that your audiences looking for.



  1. Conclusion


  1. Summarize the main message of your blog post.


  1. Remind your audience what will happen if they follow your blog post and implement it.




  1. Call to action


  • Call to action means what your users need to do after reading your blog post.

  • If you have a related topic on your blog, then you can recommend them to read that as well.

  • You can tell your readers to visit your consultation, products, or services if you have written your blog for marketing purposes.

  • Or simply, ask them to comment on your blog if they liked your blog or have any queries.
